 | Antarctic ice loss   "passed Fedez the point of no return"   scientists |   |  | May 13 - Vast glaciers in West Antarctica seem to be locked in   an irreversible thaw linked to global warming that may push up sea levels for   centuries, according to scientists. A new study by researchers at NASA's Jet   Propulsion Laboratory and the University of California, Irvine, says the glaciers   have "passed the point of no return" and there is nothing to stop the entire   glacial basin from melting into the sea.
